The research was conducted through 29 interviews with line manager, works council representatives, the CEO and HR department employees. These interviews revealed the problems encountered in 2005 and showed how the company endeavoured to overcome them. During the research, six areas were defined which demonstrated how the public sector company was able to implement the new change project successfully. The defined factors for a successfull change process provide a guidline for other change processes.

Second, it will educate the reader on how to conduct different methods of research and use the findings to improve their product, find customers and develop effective promotion. Textbooks on nonprofit marketing do teach students marketing theory and practice. However these books often only have a chapter or less on marketing research. As a result of this approach, even if the students gain an understanding of product development, segmentation approaches and promotion methods, they do not know how to conduct the research which would provide the information necessary for making any marketing decision. This book will be useful for managers of small nonprofit, creative, and community organizations as many do not have business experience. While there are books to help them learn marketing, there are no books available that focus on research.* A unique book focusing on research methods for the nonprofit community* Shows how to conduct a range of methods to improve performance* Takes the reader through a step by step process

Many graduating students find it difficulty writing proposals and projects due to the fact that they have little knowledge on the how to go about it. Most of them are always found complaining of not getting the needed attention. More so, they find it difficult defending their project work via presentation. Sequel to this difficulty, most of them end up giving out their projects to others to be written for them for a fee while the problem of defense still becomes an albatross around their necks. This observation is not really helping students and therefore the need to make available a comprehensive guide to help them write their own projects work and proposal with ease. This manual thus provides self explanatory information and steps for the students engaged in research. Students who use this manual would be capable of producing an excellent theses/project work without stress, and ease the tension during the defense of their works. The book covers student research and business proposal writings, student project and theses write ups, and preparation for defense. The manual is therefore recommended for all who are engaged in endeavours aforementioned.
